Item Description

STREET KIT
Honda's new K20A3 engine offers a strong torque curve from throttle input all the way to redline. Large valves and a square bore and stroke (86mm x 86mm) were ideal for making power. However, the K20A3 engine didn't have a high-speed cam, thus its 6500 RPM redline proved to be a challenge to making big power gains.

So, Jackson Racing built the SI Supercharger system around its new Gen IV JR62 Supercharger. Utilizing the latest fourth-generation Eaton Rotor Group supercharger, Jackson Racing designed and developed a proprietary housing with improved intake and discharge port timing. The result is a highly efficient supercharger that creates boost more quickly while also reducing discharge temperatures.

Fuel Management is provided by Jackson Racing's Powercard with digital tuning technology. This simple but effective plug-and-play system takes full control of the fuel injector only under boost. The gains in power are truly impressive. The 5-psi Street version, which carries CARB EO #D-344-10, showed a wheel horsepower increase of 42% to 178.6 and 149.3 lb-ft of torque compared to a baseline of 125.3 HP/115.9 lb-ft of torque. The new Race Upgrade Kit raises the bar even higher by boosting the supercharger output to 8psi with a 4.0" supercharger pulley . Hondata provides the perfect tune-up by reflashing the stock ECU. This raises the rev limit to 7,500 rpm. Fuel and timing maps are perfected to work with the instant boost provided the the JR62 Gen IV Supercharger. The combination delivers an increase of 80 horsepower along with huge gains in torque throughout the powerband.

RACE KIT
For fuel management Jackson Racing teamed up with Honda computer specialists Hondata. Hondata reflashes a factory ECU to change engine parameters such as ignition timing, cam phasing and rev limit (now 7500 rpm), to name a few. By tailoring the ECU to the supercharger we have realized huge power gains and retained daily reliability and drivability. The new Race Upgrade Kit raises boost output to 8psi with a 4.0" supercharger pulley . Fuel and timing maps are perfected to work with the instant boost provided by the JR62 Gen IV Supercharger. The combination delivers an increase of 80 horsepower, over stock, along with huge gains in torque throughout the powerband.
