These are the NEW level 2.9 500HP axles From DSS, this completely new design will handle 5000HP at the wheel and can be used for Street/Drag racing along with any other kind of motorsports racing. After our successful new design worked so well on the standard Honda FWD 2.9 axles we decided to make the larger 28 spline to fit this chassis. This new axle has a special new outer C.V. made with one of the wildest heat treats known to man and is now a direct bolt on system capable of 500hp. The axles have 4340 chromoly bars, a forged inner housing (sorry no silly alignment pin) and a larger tripod with real needle bearings unlike the factory bushing design. The outer is our new 2.9 ultra killer c.v. Again rated for 500WHP!
